American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Mckenzie was the absolute best! Cheerful and very knowledgeable about the breads. She is a huge asset to your company. My order I called in on Monday was waiting. She checked my order and found a mistake but made everything 100% correct. So refreshing to have such great service. Thank you Mckenzie!!!

β₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈLoving the square shaped milk bread! ($9.50) It's perfectly in lunch bags and the kids love it. Also loved the frosted cookies at Valentine's($5)..their organic flour is locally grown! It's expensive but it makes my mama heart happy that I can buy healthy food for my family without pesticides and preservatives!! Please keep doing what you are doing!!β₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ

This is a lovely spot to visit at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market. The gal today was very friendly and enthusiastic about the breads she was selling. She told us all about the sample bread, Righteous Seed, which is a darker bread with poppyseeds along with sesame and fennel seeds, Oh my! YUM! We decided to to shop a bit and then get a loaf on our way out, since there were several loaves left. When we came back, there was only a half loaf left but it was better than not having any! We shall be back!
